A Book Review by Leighton Jay – “Getting to Maybe” by Frances Westley, Brenda Zimmerman and Michael Quinn Patton (2006, Random House: Canada)

I first read this book in 2009. I have re-read it a few times since then and dipped into it on many occasions. I have eagerly introduced it to a wide range of friends, colleagues and professional acquaintances as a book well worth reading. I know for a fact that many additional copies have been bought and read by many people working in social services in Western Australia as a result of my urgings. And I know that many of those who have read it echo my sentiments – this is a very well-written and important book. In short, I rate this book very highly. But why?. . . (continue reading)
